Collection Notice

Who is collecting your information
Senly ID is operated by SenlyAI, a trading name of Uinspo Pty Ltd (ABN 47 664 833 872), in Victoria, Australia.
What we collect and why
When you complete a verification, we collect your identity information (such as your name, date of birth and details from a government identity document) and a live selfie / liveness capture. We collect this to verify your identity for the business that asked you to verify, and to meet legal and regulatory obligations. Where the business is a reporting entity, its identity check is required under the AML/CTF Act 2006 (Cth); other checks rely on your consent. Your liveness/biometric capture is sensitive information, which we collect only with your consent.
How we collect it
We collect it directly from you during the verification. For Australian documents, we confirm the details against the official Document Verification Service through an authorised gateway provider.
Who receives it
The result of your verification is provided to the business that requested it, so it can confirm your identity. If that business downloads a record containing your verified identity details, it does so as a disclosure you consent to at that time, and we log the disclosure. We use certified verification providers to perform the check, and some processing occurs overseas. We do not retain your raw identity documents: after the result is produced and signed, the raw verification session is deleted.
Ongoing monitoring
When a business runs an AML check on you, it includes ongoing monitoring for a certain period. During that period we periodically re-check your name against public sanctions, politically-exposed-person and adverse-media sources, using the details from your check. This continues to involve some overseas processing. It stops at the end of the period covered by the check.
If you don’t provide it
Providing this information is your choice, but if you don’t provide it we can’t complete the verification the business asked for.
Your rights and our full policy
You can ask to access or correct your information, or make a privacy complaint, by contacting privacy@senly.ai. This is a summary; our full Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including overseas disclosure, retention, and how to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
